A: You might want to start by grabbing a bite to eat at any one of the over 100 restaurants in the Seattle Southside region. You'll find delicious steaks and sushi at Joey Southcenter, authentic Thai food at Bai Tong, and the best fresh, local seafood at Anthony's HomePort Restaurant.
Need to get some shopping done? Jump on over to Westfield Southcenter Mall where there are over 150 stores to choose from.
A: If you're interested in seeing the sights and local attractions then you might want to consider visiting the Museum of Flight where there are over 175 aircraft that you can view up close. Would you like to get super close to Puget Sound? Then take a walk along the boardwalk and out on the Redondo Pier in nearby Des Moines, Washington. There's no telling what kind of marine animals you might see on any given day, whales and dolphins included.
A: Westfield Southcenter Mall is only 3.5 miles from the SEA Airport. You can step out of the airport and be there in 7 to 10 minutes.
A: Yes...providing you're on a domestic flight. You can see a lot of Seattle in 5 hours or less. Step outside the airport and get a taste of the Pacific Northwest. International travelers who are not US Citizens might have to choose from the many options at the airport. Make sure to find out if you have to go through security again on a domestic layover, if so, then you might need a little more time.
A: You definitely want to allow yourself enough time to not miss your connecting flight. The plane will not wait for you. Give yourself plenty of time and your trip will be enjoyable. The consensus seems to be that having at least 4 of 5 hours is best.
