SHADOW GIRLS: A TRUE CRIME LISTENING EVENT
You will hear from noted criminal attorney Anne Bremner along with King County Sheriff (ret), Dave Reichert and King County Detective Tom Jensen who will discuss investigations and how the systemic neglect and dismissal of survivors has incalculable effects on victims, their families and society.
The creative team behind "The Shadow Girls" podcast, Carolyn Ossorio and Branden Morgan will also discuss their ongoing mission to share stories of "imperfect witnesses." One of the stories you will hear is of the only woman to survive the Green River Killer, who came forward with the tip that ultimately led to the GRK's capture.
This new series from the Highline College Foundation honors Dr. Ed Command, Highline President from 1990-2000, and his vision to connect the community to Highline College.
