It is with a heavy heart that Tukwila Parks and Recreation has determined it is in the best interest of public health to cancel all the Backyard Wildlife Enrichment Programming in April and the 20th Anniversary Festival May 9th. The event will not occur in 2020.
The Annual Backyard Wildlife Festival teaches people of all ages how to create a welcoming environment for wildlife. Learn how to certify a garden or open space as a Wildlife Habitat using native plants, shrubs and other resources that support birds, bees, butterflies and other wildlife. Music, art projects, and speakers along with amazing garden art, crafts, and plant vendors create a wonderful family friendly event.
Always free, always the second Saturday in May.
