Team Building Activities: On Land
Par for the Course: Play a Round at Foster Golf Links
There’s no better way to promote team-building than with a friendly competition. Play a round of golf on the lush greens of Foster Golf Links. The 18-hole golf course occupies a unique site adjacent to the meandering Duwamish River, which surrounds 65% of the course. Foster is recognized as a rewarding and fun course that is easy to walk and a challenge to the average golfer. Get your group on the green for an outdoor experience they can look fore-ward to.
Hiking & Biking
Hiking and biking are the ideal team-building opportunities for your group to enjoy the open outdoors, especially along the scenic routes of the Interurban Trail. Stretching 14 miles, the trail connects several cities and crosses a wide variety of natural landscapes, providing views of many regional sites and adventure-filled activities. Groups can enjoy the fresh air along this paved trail that leads right to Westfield Southcenter shopping center, where a well-deserved meal awaits.

Team Building Activities: On the Water
Kayaking & Paddleboarding
An ideal team-building (and just overall fun) activity for your group is to take a rented kayak or paddleboard from Olympic Outdoor Center out of Redondo Beach and explore the waters of the South Sound. Located less than five miles south of Sea-Tac Airport, the center caters to your group’s needs and offers a one-of-a-kind team-building opportunity to those looking for that unique Northwest outdoor experience.
Swimming & Fishing
Sit by the sea or wade in the waters at the picturesque Angel Lake Park, a 10-acre lake-front park perfect for groups to retreat in the fresh air while enjoying fun activities—including swimming, fishing and more. Locals also love casting a reel in the Puget Sound from the Des Moines Pier, an accessible and popular fishing spot and crabbing site that on a sunny weekend day you'll find it crowded with people and crab traps.
