Here you'll find the familiar array of Japanese-American preparations: teriyakis, katsus (breaded and deep fried items), yakisoba, tempura, sashimi and sushi. Located next to Toys-R-Us in a newly remodeled strip just a few blocks south of Southcenter Mall, Miyabi opened in the spring of 1995 and immediately established a strong base of loyal clients. It's a paper napkin, wooden chopsticks place with simple decor. The brisk buisness requires four cooks, led by owner/chef Shirakura, to ensure that food arrives promptly and properly prepared.
