Top 10 Happy Hours in Seattle Southside
Seattle Southside is quickly becoming the foodie capital of the Northwest.
There are so many restaurants that it makes it nearly impossible to narrow down where it is you want to eat, because the answer to that would be everywhere, honestly.
Top 10 Best Restaurants for Happy Hour in Seattle Southside
I personally have always found that a restaurant’s Happy Hour is the best way for a customer to sit down and really get a chance to see what a restaurant has to offer. I mean come on, good food and drinks at affordable prices so you can actually afford to order everything on the menu, why wouldn’t you take advantage of happy hour?! For you, we at Seattle Southside gathered a list of the top 10 best restaurants to visit during happy hour. Hopefully this helps you narrow down your restaurant search at the times you’re starving.
1. 13 Coins
Enjoy a daily happy hour from 3:00pm-6:00pm at 13 Coins. With $2 off specialty cocktails and select wines, $1 off draft and bottled beers, and $6 well drinks, you are sure to kick start your evening fully hydrated. Relax in the swanky atmosphere and unwind from your day with deals on select appetizers. Fried artichokes, 13 Coins sliders and the crispy brussels make a tasty meal at a price you'll love.
2. Moctezuma's

We’re pretty confident in saying that Moctezuma’s Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar offers such a great selection of authentic Mexican cuisine that one could not possibly be disappointed. With a dim and warm atmosphere (seriously, there’s fireplaces all around), you can feel right at home. The happy hour at Moctezuma’s just tops it all off. Every day the main happy hour specials rotate so each day of the week you can try something new, but they also have a standard happy hour that gives you a wonderful price off of not only appetizers, but entrees as well. Let’s not forget the drinks, delicious margaritas, and of course tequila, are all offered extensively to all guests. Happy hour runs from Sunday through Friday 3:00pm to 6:00pm, and Sunday through Thursday 9:00pm to close.
3. Duke's Chowder House

Named one of Seattle’s best seafood restaurants, Duke's Chowder House serves some of the freshest seafood in the city. Their yummy entrees and “duketails” (cocktails, but better!) can guarantee each and every guest a rewarding experience. Not only is the food so delicious, their happy hour was also voted one of the top happy hours in the area! Happy hour offers a large selection of appetizers, salads, burgers, and sandwiches all at a happy price, and also drinks specials that include $5-$7 specialty "duketails" and $5 beers. Happy hour at Duke's Chowder House runs from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and 9:00pm to close.
4. Anthony’s Homeport – Des Moines

Let’s just start off and say that the view from Anthony’s HomePort (especially on a beautiful sunny day) is gorgeous! The restaurant overlooks the Des Moines Marina so you get views of other islands, the Olympic Mountains, and also South Puget Sound boating activity. This is one of the perfect places to enjoy amazing and fresh seafood, while enjoying breathtaking views. To add the cherry on top, Anthony’s HomePort provides a wonderful happy hour as well. $5 appetizers, oyster shooters, and burgers, and drink specials that change by the season, so year-round you get a wonderful selection of all of the specialty drinks for the happy price! Happy hour runs from 3:00pm to 6:30pm in the downstairs dining lounge area, and 9:00pm to close in the upstairs bar.
5. Rendition

Rendition is one of Tukwila’s newest restaurants. Located inside Hotel Interurban (that towering skyscraper off Andover Park E), Rendition has one of the top happy hours in town. With food and drinks oddly priced at $3, $5, $7, and $9, you'll be ballin' on a budget. Some of the highlights of the menu include Pork Belly Cubano Sliders, Drenched Chipotle Fries, Smoked Marrow Bone, and drinks from local craft beer to the Barrel-Aged Interurban Boulevardier.
6. Kaihana Sushisaki

Kaihana Sushisaki is personally my favorite place to go for sushi, especially during happy hour. I mean there’s such a large menu that ranges from salads, to sushi, to teriyaki, and the drinks come from a full-bar so you can order any drink you desire, while they of course have some specialty cocktails including Japanese Sake. Happy hour offers appetizers, drink specials, and sushi rolls all at such a good price; it really lives up to a happy hour. Happy hour runs from 3:00pm to 6:00pm Tuesday through Sunday.
7. Via Marina Ristorante

Via Marina Ristorante, one of our newer restaurants located in the Des Moines Marina, is the perfect place to go if you want excellent service and you’re craving delicious Italian food. They offer delicious pizzas, pastas, appetizers, desserts and more. They also have a great selection of beer, wine, and spirits. They also offer happy hour, which is perfect! Not only do they have really good drink specials, all of the happy hour appetizers are $5 or less. Happy hour runs from 4:00pm to 6:00pm each and every day.
8. Sharp's Roasthouse

Sharp's Roasthouse in SeaTac is home to some of the best barbecue in Seattle Southside. They've also got a famously fantastic happy hour menu. It's only $3.75 for their Scratch Manhattan, leaving plenty of room for a Kansas City pulled pork sandwich, Northwest salmon cake, tamarind pulled chicken tacos, and plenty of options in the craft beer and wine department. If you happen to have a layover at Sea-Tac Airport, or you're staying at one of the many SeaTac hotels, make sure you give this place a try.
9. Bahama Breeze

Known for their fresh seafood, delicious chicken dishes, and flame-grilled steaks, Bahama Breeze gives you the spot-on experience of what it’s like to dine in the islands. Not only do they offer wonderful entrees, they also have a wide variety of one-of-a-kind tropical refreshments. Happy hour at Bahama Breeze offers a ton of options. All appetizers on the menu are ½ off, and the drink specials offered are $3 beers and well drinks, and $4 specialty (tropical) cocktails! Make sure when you visit for happy hour, you sit in the lounge by the fireplaces and listen to the beautiful sounds of their live entertainment that they offer! Happy hour is offered from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and late night happy hour is offered Sunday through Thursday 9:00pm to close.
10. Mizu Japanese Steakhouse

Mizu Japanese Steakhouse is known for their talented ability to prepare your meals for you right at your table, while putting on an entertaining show (be careful, it gets hot!). Aside from that, they also offer a sushi bar in a sit-down dining section of their restaurant. The sushi portion of the restaurant is exactly why Mizu made it on our top 10 happy hour list. Mizu’s happy hour menu includes specialty cocktails, beers, and wine with a great selection of sushi rolls, nigiri, and small plates all for $5 or less. Happy hour runs from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, and 8:00pm to close.
