Seattle Area Event Spaces with Great Natural Light
Windows provide more than just a nice view. Research shows that exposure to daylight has measurable benefits for workers.
For example, a Cornell study showed that workers in offices with daylight reported an 84 percent drop in eyestrain, headaches, and blurred vision, all of which can make it harder to focus and be productive.
"Meetings with natural light can increase productivity, enhance mood, promote sleep, and reduce jet lag," says Noelle Cueto, Director of Business Development at Explore Seattle Southside.
Event Spaces with Natural Light
There are dozens of meeting rooms in Seattle Southside with windows and ample natural light, and our events team is happy to help you find one. Below, find just a few popular picks.
Cedarbrook Lodge
Given that Cedarbrook Lodge is surrounded by 18 acres of lush gardens and greenery, it's no surprise that it has some of the nicest, brightest event spaces in the area. Many of the hotel's 13 flexible event spaces have large windows overlooking the grounds, with views of Evergreen trees, flowers, and a grassy lawn. Tamarack Hall, a 4,380-square-foot space that can accommodate up to 300 guests, features floor-to-ceiling windows that make the room feel partly outside. For smaller meetings, Spruce Studio has large windows on two walls and provides the perfect space for a seated meeting for 8 or a reception for 20. When guests need a full sunshine break, they can stroll through the grounds or enjoy a meal on the patio of Copperleaf Restaurant & Bar.
