Seattle Underground Tour

Join a guided haunted adventure: Seattle Underground Tour is a little different than your typical walking tour, because it’s the history our pioneers didn’t want to share. During the tour, you get to explore the main roadways and storefronts that once made up Seattle – some of which were turned into gambling halls, speakeasies and opium dens! If you're feeling really brave, they also have a hands-on, lights-off nighttime tour focused on the scarier side. From the group that brought you Seattle’s Underground Tour comes the new, Underground Paranormal Experience. Return to the underground after hours for a little ghost hunting. Experienced ghost hunters provide you with the gear and the expertise necessary to succeed in getting the creeps.

All guides are members of the Advanced Ghost Hunters of Seattle-Tacoma and the tours include information about ghosts and some of the evidence collected during ghost hunts.
Celebrate Horror Movies
Horror films scare us, so why do we like them? Vampires, monsters, and murderers have fascinated audiences for centuries. Discover the history and cultural relevance of the horror genre at “Scared to Death, The Thrill of Horror Film” at Seattle’s MoPOP Museum.
Cemeteries

Why not visit a cemetery? All Hallows' Eve is the time to pay your respects to the departed, after all! There are a few famous people who are buried and memorialized in Seattle that the public can visit.
Just north of Volunteer Park in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood is one of the city’s oldest cemeteries – Lakeview Cemetery. Martial Arts legend Bruce Lee and his son, actor, Brandon Lee are buried there, along with some recognizable names – John Nordstrom, Arthur Denny and Princess Angeline, the daughter of Chief Seattle.
Visit Viretta Park and look south to the former home of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain – it’s the house where he died. Walk around the benches in the park, which are scrawled with messages from fans and serve as a memorial to the rock icon.
Head to Renton to the memorial gravesite of musician Jimi Hendrix at Greenwood Memorial Park – it’s the second resting place for Hendrix as he was earlier in another part of the park but moved because of concerns of damage to nearby grave sites.
Do you prefer spirits of the four legged sort? Visit the Pet Haven Cemetery in Kent, it's the oldest pet cemetery in the state, and also home to over 20 cremated remains of humans who chose to be buried with their pets.
