The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Do the Time Warp at the Des Moines Theater during its first presentation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Each evening combines a screening of the cult-classic film with live variety acts, local performers, costumes, vendors, food, treats, cocktails, and plenty of audience participation.

Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume and join the fun with call-backs, confetti, and other familiar Rocky Horror traditions. Prop bags will also be available at the door, with proceeds benefiting Waterland Pride. The event is hosted by the theater and Dave Hinshaw—also known as Mary Cockins of Haus of Mary Opal—in partnership with GPSBA and Waterland Pride.

Ticket Options

  • Single Ticket: $30
  • Couple Ticket: $50 for two side-by-side seats
  • VIP Ticket: $55, including one reserved seat and two drink tickets
  • Sponsored Reserved Table: $550, including seating for eight and 12 drink tickets

Seating is limited to 162 guests per night, so advance ticket purchases are recommended.
