Flight Attendant Appreciation Weekend

Celebrate the history, style, stories, and impact of flight attendants during Flight Attendant Appreciation Weekend at The Museum of Flight. This museum-wide weekend event highlights the important role flight attendants have played in aviation, from passenger safety and early commercial flight to workplace rights, identity, and culture.

Guests can explore the temporary exhibit Runway to Runway, featuring flight attendant fashions, artifacts, real-life stories, and hands-on activities. Weekend programming also includes family-friendly activities, scarf decorating, coloring sheets, a sewing workshop, the Beauty and Duty women’s military uniform display, and Sky High Stories, an interview panel with active and retired flight attendants sharing memorable inflight tales.

Flight attendants are encouraged to attend in uniform, wear a pin, bring memorabilia, or show their high-flying spirit.

The Runway to Runway exhibit and all weekend activities are FREE for Museum Members and included with the cost of General Admission.
