What qualifies as "brunch" rather than regular breakfast? While there was some debate on our team, the following list features full-service restaurants where you can get a leisurely, indulgent mid-morning meal. Most offer classic morning cocktails like mimosas. All offer delicious, eggy dishes and relaxed vibes. Some are only on Sunday, and others are available throughout the week. Either way, they'll leave you feeling "easy like Sunday morning".

Copperleaf Restaurant

Copperleaf Restaurant & Bar makes brunch into an art form. This farm-to-table restaurant on the tranquil grounds of Cedarbrook Lodge serves breakfast classics made with the highest-quality ingredients and herbs from the onsite Chef's Garden. Enjoy elevated dishes like a smoked salmon scramble with goat cheese, potato rissole, and harissa aioli. Pair your meal with a fresh salad or baked good with house-made honey butter, then browse the extensive bar menu for specialty seasonal cocktails, wine, and NA beverages.

The brunch menu is available daily.

Anthony's HomePort

When it comes to location, you can't do better than Anthony's HomePort. This upscale seafood spot overlooks the Des Moines Marina, so you get views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains in the distance. The elegant restaurant upstairs offers brunch every Sunday, and everything on the menu is a cut above your average: the French toast is made with Macrina brioche in a marmalade batter caramelized with a drizzle of ginger syrup. The scrambles are made with wild Alaska smoked salmon and fresh dill. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try unique dishes such as ocean prawns seared with Cajun spices. A full cocktail menu gives you plenty to choose from, and to top it off, all dishes are served with a basket of warm blueberry coffee cake and cinnamon butter.

Neighborhood Cafe

Neighborhood Cafe in Tukwila offers a truly unique, Filipino-inspired brunch menu, with dishes and beverages you won't find anywhere else. Indulge in dishes like a banana bread French toast with caramelized bananas, a butter ube biscuit topped with longanisa sausage gravy, or a breakfast burrito made with house-made pork longanisa or lechon (crispy pork belly). And if you like lumpia (crispy, fried Filipino spring rolls), try the fried lumpia balls, which are rolled in thin strips of lumpia, making every bite extra crunchy. Complete your meal with one of the inspired beverage flavors, or try a coffee or matcha flight to sample four different drinks!

The full menu is available all day during business hours, with a special brunch tower available on Sundays. The cafe also hosts DJ'd events, "Sweet Thang Sundays," so keep an eye on its social media pages for upcoming dates!

13 Coins

If all-day breakfast is music to your ears, 13 Coins in SeaTac is calling your name. This iconic establishment has an upscale diner vibe with a touch of old-school glam, and the menu delivers crowd-pleasers like Dungeness crab Benedict, Belgian waffle loaded with berries and whipped cream, and massive, made-to-order omelets. The cocktail menu includes specialty brunch drinks like the Breakfast at Tiffany's, made with citrus and rose flavors. Located minutes from the airport, it's a great choice before or after a flight (though it's worth checking out any time)!

The Pancake Chef

Founded in 1959, The Pancake Chef is an iconic, retro diner that will warm your belly and your soul. Lovers of nostalgic vibes and good, old-fashioned breakfast classics will find themselves right at home at this beloved, locally owned establishment. While the restaurant changed ownership in 2025, the menu still has all the hits: hearty omelets, fresh-squeezed juice, and, of course, light, fluffy pancakes. We love the German Pancake (also known as a Dutch Baby), a giant, oven-baked treat sweetened by lemon sauce and powdered sugar.

Alina's Cafe

Alina’s Café in Des Moines is a warm, inviting spot where breakfast is served all day. Post up in a booth, order a mimosa or sake Bloody Mary and Staples and order one of the unique dishes, like mac-n-cheese served with candied bacon crust and fried eggs, or baked eggs in a cute terrine. For a lighter start, try a yogurt parfait with maple pecan granola, or avocado toast and eggs on housemade bread. The restaurant is also loved for its homemade pies—available in flavors like pumpkin, cherry, caramel pecan, and chocolate cream.​

Jamar's Sports Bar & Grill

There's always a party at Jamar’s Sports Bar & Grill in Des Moines, and Sunday brunch is no exception. The brunch menu features Southern-inspired comfort food, including creamy grits with shrimp or catfish and a Cajun sauce and a chicken and waffle breakfast sandwich. Aqua Terra

Aqua Terra inside the Seattle Airport Marriott offers fresh takes on Pacific Northwest classics inspired by land and sea. This spacious, comfortable hotel feels far away from the city, though it's only a stone's throw from the airport. The menu includes classic dishes like Eggs Benedict, "Crunchy French Toast," and an assortment of omelettes. Pair your meal with a mimosa or cocktail for a festive vibe.

Creole Soul

Creole Soul brings the bold flavors of New Orleans straight to the heart of Des Moines, thanks to its owner, Hampton Isom—a Louisiana native who cooks every dish himself using authentic ingredients shipped directly from the bayou. On Sundays, the cozy spot transforms into a festive brunch destination, complete with homemade quiche, fresh-baked beignets, and a full bar. Don’t miss the “Gator Mary,” a spicy Bloody Mary topped with a crispy fried alligator garnish that's as memorable as it sounds.

Note: This business is 21+ and brunch is only on Sundays.

The Cheesecake Factory

While The Cheesecake Factory is known for their huge menu all the time, their weekends turn it up a notch with brunch. Feast on bacon and avocado Benedict, chicken & waffles, and cinnamon roll pancakes. Plus you can always get a big slice of cheesecake for dessert. Wash it down with their famous peach bellini and you're sure to walk away satisfied.

Lucky Liquor Tavern

While Lucky Liquor is primarily known as a local watering hole and concert venue, this down-to-earth dive bar also has a great brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. It's the perfect spot for when you want to roll up in jeans and a hoodie and fill up on breakfast tacos, a chorizo scramble, or prime rib hash. And it goes out with saying the drinks are great.

Jony's Breakfast and Lunch

Jony's Breakfast and Lunch in Tukwila is perfect for a laid-back weekend treat with classic diner vibes. In addition to classic egg dishes, the menu features many Mexican-inspired dishes such as carne asada omelettes and chilaquiles (fried tortilla chips with eggs, chorizo, and a saucy mixture of salsa and queso fresco). For something sweeter, check out the tantalizing French toast flavors, from cinnamon roll to churro to almond. If you're really hungry, you can even get a full New York strip steak with eggs and toast.

Patty's Eggnest is a Pacific Northwest chain with a location in Tukwila where you can get classics like egg scrambles, pancakes, and more.

IHOP (with locations in both SeaTac and at Southcenter) is a well-known breakfast chain open early and late.

Hotel Breakfasts:

Rendition offers a complimentary hot breakfast buffet for guests of Hotel Interurban and to paying customers who are not staying at the hotel.

One of our favorite spots for coffee and breakfast fare is Neighborhood Cafe, which offers Filipino fusion food and has two airport locations (one pre-security and one beyond the security checkpoint).
