Wine Tasting for a Cause
The 11th annual Poverty Bay Wine Festival returns to the original location in the newly remodeled historic Des Moines Park Auditorium. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, games, local fare and of course delicious wines from more than 20 different Washington State wineries. One-hundred percent of proceeds from the event will be used to fund charitable activities of the Des Moines Rotary Club. The Poverty Bay Wine Festival takes place Friday, March 4 from 5 - 10 p.m. and Saturday, March 5 from 12 - 9 p.m.

Annual Race Returns with New Feature
Originally organized by a group of friends, the Cove to Clover race is now a nonprofit and beloved annual event with proceeds distributed to local charities. The event features a pub crawl, 5k and kid’s race. New this year is the GRIT Found Challenge, which features obstacles and crossfit-style challenges along the 5k route. Cove to Clover takes place Friday, March 11 to Sunday, March 13.
