On January 1st, 2024, T-Mobile Park will be home to the most anticipated outdoor hockey event of the season. The Seattle Kraken will face off against the 2023 Stanley Cup Champions, the Vegas Golden Knights!
The Winter Classic is anticipated to draw in 50,000 attendees into T-Mobile park on New Years day. This unqiue regular season match is high stakes for players and is a truly special game to take part in. It is tradition to hold the match outside. In years past it has been held in iconic places like Boston's Fenway Park, Chicago's Wrigley Field, and Ann Arbor's Michigan Stadium just to name a few. The Seattle NHL Winter Classic is the first time it is being held on the West coast! Paying homage to the origins of the sport, the outdoor venue is vulnerable to weather changes adding an exciting element to gameplay testing fans and players alike!

The best option to get to the 2024 NHL Winter Classic in Seattle is by riding the Link Light Rail. The Stadium Station is the closest station to T-Mobile Park. The International/Chinatown Station is another good option that will drop you closer to food options for pregame munchies and drinks and is a short walk to the T-Mobile Park.
Fares range depending on how far you travel. Link trains run every 6, 10 or 15 minutes depending on the time of day. Postgame service is available until 1a.m.

Clear plastic or vinyl bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” are permitted. One-Gallon clear plastic zip-top bags are also allowed. Security must be able to see inside and be able to identify items to the bottom of the bag.
Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are permitted and do not have to be clear.
Backpacks, duffle bags, large purses and multi-compartment bags are not allowed, with exceptions for medically necessary items or diaper bags for a present child.
No. T-Mobile Park is a 100% cashless facility. Credit, debit, and mobile pay are accepted. If you do not have any of these, there are eight ReadySTATION kiosks throughout T-Mobile park where you can convert cash to a prepaid debit card up to $500 of which never expires and can be used anywhere inside or outside of the ballpark.
