Stop and Smell the Roses
During summer, the roses at the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden are a sight to behold.
You'll feel like you're in a Victorian romance as you stroll through the rose section at this free, public garden. Take your time as you admire the fragrant rainbow of blooms in red, yellow, pink, and white. The peak season for roses is typically June, though the season can extend from May to September, depending on the weather in a given year.
Fun Fact: The roses are tended by the Seattle Rose Society, a volunteer-powered non-profit organization that's been continually running for over a century!
