Celebrate the Fall Harvest at a Farmer's Market
Farmer's Markets aren't just for summer!
Several local outdoor markets continue into September and October, featuring a bounty of fall produce and artisanal gifts, food trucks and vendors serving ready-to-eat food, and fun, seasonal activities. The scenic Des Moines Waterfront Farmer's Market, located right on the Puget Sound waterfront, takes place every Saturday through September (see their website for details). Other markets that run through October include the SeaTac Farmer's Market and Tukwila Village Farmer's Market, both of which highlight immigrant and BIPOC farmers and vendors.
