FORBES: Is This the Best Hotel Airport Ever?
Cedarbrook Lodge doesn't look like an airport hotel. Just a seven-minute drive to Seattle’s SeaTac airport and on 18 acres of park and wetlands, you’ll want to stay at Cedarbrook Lodge even if you’re not flying anywhere.
Billed as an urban oasis, Cedarbrook Lodge does look more like a wilderness retreat than an airport or even city hotel, though it's just 25 minutes from downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market. There’s plenty to explore nearby too, including Seattle Southside’s botanical garden, nearby beaches and parks, and even a chocolate factory.
On the resort’s grounds, take a stroll to admire ponds and a little waterfall, woods and wetlands (keep your eye out for birds), green lawns, flowering gardens and, in spring, blossoming trees. Inside, there’s unique art on the walls and mountainy decor, and comforts and perks that will make it very hard to pack up and leave.
