Hospitality Heroes
Not all heroes wear capes.
Some wear an apron, others wear a polo shirt, and some have chef’s hats. Explore Seattle Southside is highlighting how hard-working, everyday people make a huge difference in our community.
Explore Seattle Southside Celebrates Hospitality Heroes
We believe that the individuals who make our region such a welcoming place to visit should be recognized as Hospitality Heroes. Heroes from the past several years came from our Southside region’s hotels, The Museum of Flight, Sound Transit, and our local restaurants. One hero has been a powerhouse in the kitchen for over 32 years, and another helped hundreds of visitors navigate the confusing light rail system each day. Many of our heroes work behind the spotlight, and while they may not be visible, their impact is essential.
This year's heroes were honored at an award ceremony on February 24, 2026.
