How to Get Around Seattle Southside
With the cruise season here, an additional 1 million people will be traveling in and out of Seattle!
That means more traffic and more public, private, and mass transit use! If you are looking to get to and from places including: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Cruise Piers 66 and 91, Downtown Seattle, and/or the surrounding cities, we have just the right transportation option for you!
Below is a list of common and not-so-common ways to get around:
Link Light Rail

You’ll definitely want to ride the Link Light Rail if you are only traveling between Sea-Tac Airport and Downtown Seattle. The first stop is conveniently connected to the baggage claim at the airport: the SeaTac Light Rail Station. Buy an All Day Pass to University of Washington (which is the last stop of the Light Rail), and you will be able to hop-on and off for the entire day. It runs daily, from 5AM to midnight.
Seattle Express Cruise Shuttle

The Seattle Express Cruise Shuttle gives you front door service. With reservations, a shuttle driver will pick you up right at your hotel and bring you directly to whichever cruise terminal you are departing from (Pier 66 or 91). This also includes the Victoria Clipper cruise terminal, which is located on Pier 69. Seattle Express also provides transportation from the Piers back to your hotel. Lyft

Lyft is a great alternative to taxi services. Use Lyft to go anywhere and everywhere, 24/7! If you have ever heard of Uber, Lyft is very similar. You will need a smartphone and download the Lyft app. Another great thing about Lyft is that once you book your ride, a car is designated strictly for you. You don’t have to worry about getting into the wrong taxi or another person taking yours because Lyft cars wear pink mustaches on their front bumper! You will also be able to track your Lyft car on your smartphone, and you will be saving nearly half off your ride compared to a formal taxi!
