Game On
Break Out of the Boardroom with Immersive Team-Building Games
Looking to shake up your next team-building event?
Two next-level experiences are coming soon to Seattle Southside in fall 2025: The Escape Game and Great Big Game Show. Both of these all-ages, hour-long activities are designed to facilitate group bonding, combining collaborative challenges with immersive, cinematic environments.
Set to open in late September, they will be located side-by-side in Westfield Southcenter Mall, the region’s retail and entertainment epicenter. You’ll be minutes away from dozens of popular restaurants such as JOEY and Din Tai Fung, so you can stop for a group meal after the main event. Whether you’re planning a corporate retreat, onboarding event, incentive trip, or a sports team visit, these attractions will keep everyone entertained.
Read on to learn more about each experience.
The Escape Game: Challenge, Collaboration, and Cinematic Fun
From the moment your group steps inside The Escape Game, they’ll be transported into another world. Movie-set-worthy environments and original storylines make the whole thing feel immersive. Each game is 60 minutes of fast-paced fun, perfect for improving communication, creative problem-solving, and trust while having a blast.
Drop-ins are possible, but for teams, booking in advance guarantees the time slot and allows planners to customize the experience. And for groups that want to level up the experience, full room buyouts are available.

Great Big Game Show: Live-Action Excitement
Want to really surprise your team? Great Big Game Show transforms every participant into a live game show contestant. Each hour-long game is hosted by a charismatic emcee who guides players through a series of trivia rounds, quirky challenges, and light-hearted competition.
How many people can participate: Two studio spaces can each accommodate up to 14 players.
Why it’s great for team-building: In addition to being fun and unique, you can work with in-house event coordinators to tailor trivia content to reflect company values, recent training material, or even fun facts about employees or leadership teams, turning team building into a clever reinforcement of your culture.
For sports teams, the Game Show offers a competitive outlet that’s low-pressure and high fun. It keeps players engaged mentally, encourages collaboration and quick thinking, and gives them a chance to bond off the field.
Why These Experiences Work So Well for Team Building
1. They Encourage Real Connection. In an era of remote work and digital communication, in-person connection has never been more vital. Both The Escape Game and Great Big Game Show are designed to get people talking, laughing, and strategizing together. Whether it’s solving a riddle in the final seconds of a mission or shouting out answers on a buzzer, participants leave with shared stories and inside jokes that strengthen team chemistry.
2. They’re Logistically Easy. Located within Westfield Southcenter, these attractions are surrounded by excellent dining options and easily accessible via Seattle Southside’s robust transit system. Many nearby hotels offer free shuttle service, and the mall itself is just minutes from SEA Airport. For planners juggling tight schedules, proximity and convenience are a huge win.
3. They’re Flexible and Scalable. Whether you're planning for a small leadership group or an entire division, both experiences can accommodate multiple sessions and rotations. You can split your larger team into sub-groups and run them through different experiences. With advanced booking and private buyout options, the format can flex to fit your needs.
