Have you ever heard of a dog park with a view? Grandview Dog Park is exactly that - it's more than just a great play place for Fido, it's also a beautiful site in its own right with breathtaking views of Mt. Did you know Seattle Southside is the Bowling Capital of the Northwest? It's true! With more than 70 lanes of bowling all centered here, you can roll with the best of them, with different vibes at each lane. Want family fun with options for all ages? The Bowlwinkle Lanes at Family Fun Center are the way to go. Want more grown-up bowling? Bowlero South Seattle offers an elevated atmosphere and great cokctails, too. Want karaoke, arcades, and fun 'til late at night along with your bowling? Round 1 Bowling has all of that 'til late at night.

41. Soak in Local History

The Highline Heritage Museum focuses on showcasing hyperlocal history and connecting it to the world at large, both through showing how local events have had a global impact and by showing how diverse groups have contributed to local history. Whether you're learning about prehistoric giant sloths, native tribal history, the story of D.B. Cooper, or the stories of local immigrants, you'll find incredible tales are around every corner. This fascinating museum also runs the SeaTac Fascinating Tour, where you can see some of the historical sites discussed at the museum!

42. Learn About Our Waters

The beautiful waters of the Puget Sound are home to a diverse array of sea life and are home to many fascinating creatures. But usually, we don't get to spend much time with them—after all, we don't breathe water! That's where the MaST Center comes in. As a working aquarium, marine biology students from Highline College are able to get hands on learning while teaching the public about marine life! Every Saturday, their open house allows you to get up close and personal with sea life.

43. Shop 'Til You Drop at Westfield Southcenter

The largest indoor shopping mall in the Pacific Northwest, Westfield Southcenter Mall is a retail paradise, with more than 140 stores and restaurants to enjoy, and options ranging from mall staples to niche stores you can't find anywhere else, like Hat Stop, a retailer that sells custom designed fitted baseball caps, or the KPop store, a haven for all things Korean pop music! Refuel at one of the delicious eateries and then keep on shopping!

44. Feel the Rush at SyKart

Fuel your need for speed at SyKart, where you can live out your Mario Kart fantasies in real life (no throwing shells or banana peels, please!) and get your heart racing as you speed through the course! There are two courses available - one only for licensed drivers that goes above 30MPH, and one that racers as young as 8 can race on that ranges from 20-30MPH. So what are you waiting for? Feel the rush and show off your driving skills!

45. Enter a New Dimension at Dimension XR

Enter the next level of virtual reality gaming at Dimension XR, where immersive virtual laser tag, VR teambuilding, and even cooperative VR cooking are on offer. The virtual laser tag is especially immersive, with their rifle-like controllers that feel like the real thing! Great for birthdays, teambuilding, or just blowing off some steam, this is a perfect way to escape the real world for a few hours.

46. Explore Art Along the Rails

Did you know every stop along the Link Light Rail System has incredible artwork, from murals to sculptures to incredible multimedia installations? From the incredible Cloud sculpture at Angle Lake Station all the way up the route, you'll find art at every stop of your journey. Can't get enough outdoor art? There's a ton of it around the area, if you know where to look.

47. Farm to Table Feasting at Copperleaf

The menu at Copperleaf is ever-shifting, evolving to change with the seasons and with the freshness of the ingredients available. With some ingredients even grown in an on-site garden, the chefs at Copperleaf put a strong emphasis on local ingredients. While the menu may never be the same between visits, the excellent service, warm atmosphere, and wide selection of wine and spirits is always present. Treat yourself to a real Pacific Northwest treat. Plus, they're often open for limited service even on holidays!

48. Lounge Like a Local at the Lighthouse Lounge

The Des Moines Lighthouse Lounge isn't just a landmark because of its signature lighthouse tower. This local watering hole is a longstanding staple of the community, and offers a selection of classic bar food and tasty beverages to wash it down with. If you love bars that feel more local than touristy, we have a few worth checking out, but only at the Lighthouse Lounge can you sip your beer while kicking your feet up in a lighthouse!

49. Go Retro at Waterland Arcade

Are you an old-school gamer, or maybe just looking for a nostalgia fix from the arcade heydays of the 80's and 90's? At Waterland Arcade, not only do they have a fantastic selection of retro games and pinball, but they also lean heavily into the retro arcade aesthetic, with nostalgic toys and even VHS tapes for sale! Though the arcade is fun for all ages, the grownups will especially enjoy the selection of craft beers available to enjoy while you get your game on. The vibes are so nostalgic that you'll feel a little bit like you're in Stranger Things (minus the monsters, of course).

50. Get Sweet on Seattle Chocolate

Take a walk on the sweet side at Seattle Chocolate, where you can get more than just a delicious souvenir that's made locally. Take a tour of their chocolate factory to watch the magic come together, or attend a tasting where they pair their chocolates with wine, and do it all knowing that you're supporting a business that gives back. A woman-owned business, Seattle Chocolates donates a share of their proceeds to Girls, Inc., an organization that uplifts girls and encourages them to be strong, smart and bold.

51. Take a Stroll Through A Winter Garden

The Macadam Winter Garden is a beautiful space year round, but the gardens are specifically designed to look at their very best in the winter. Take a stroll through these beautiful (not to mention free!) gardens and enjoy the four different outdoor "rooms" that give you a feeling of each season.

52. Go Wild at the Queens Are Wild Drag Brunch

Are you up for a wild time? At the Great American Casino on (nearly every) Sunday, you can cut loose with the queens at the Queens Are Wild Drag Brunch! Not only is there a delicious brunch on offer plus the largest mimosa bar in the Seattle area, you'll also be entertained by some of the top names in both the Seattle drag scene and traveling acts! MC'd by Irene Dubois and Queen Andrew Scott, you'll laugh, you'll kiki, and you'll have a fabulous time.
