Along International Boulevard, these works turn everyday spaces into moments of discovery, celebrating the stories, traditions, and global influences that make the district such a vibrant place to eat, explore, and connect.

Meals Under One SeaTac Sky

Artist: Toka Valu
Medium: Mural Installation

Set against a cosmic backdrop inspired by zodiac maps and the skies that connect our world, this mural brings together dishes that reflect the diversity found throughout SeaTac’s dining community. Flight paths and celestial imagery weave through the composition as a nod to SeaTac’s role as an international crossroads where people, cultures, and traditions meet.

Meet the Artist: Toka Valu

Toka Valu is an indigenous Pacific Islander Artist and Illustrator with more than five years of Public Arts experience, and over twenty years of illustration & visual arts work. His artistic influences are culturally rooted and informed by his cultural upbringing in Tonga and cultivated by the Duwamish lands that he now calls home in the Pacific NW.

Meet the Artist: Christy Caravaglio

Christy Caravaglio is a fiber artist living in Kent, WA. Her designs are inspired by traditional and contemporary quilt designs as well as an artistic sense of pattern and color. These are informed by her active practices in quilting and knitting as well as her previous career as a graphic and textile artist. She likes to create little moments of surprise and joy for people’s everyday lives.
