Tuft & Needle Launches First-of-its-Kind Store in Seattle, Grand Opening on November 11
Tuft & Needle’s Seattle store community grand opening event will give first 100 customers through the door free pillows, and all proceeds all day from sales will benefit Team Rubicon, a local Disaster Response Veterans Service Organization
WHO: Mattress disruptor, Tuft & Needle will be opening its first physical store to showcase products available at Amazon.com near Downtown Seattle’s Pike Place in Belltown’s retail district. Doors open to public on October 9, and a community grand opening event will be held on Saturday, November 11.
WHAT: The Tuft & Needle Seattle grand opening event will be held on Saturday, November 11.
The newest Seattle location is a continued evolution of T&N’s retail design language. The store is the largest location to date at 6000+ sq. ft., and the space is divided using a light, airy semi-obscuring privacy screen fabric made from repurposed mattress materials to surround five (5) mattress displays. T&N worked with a local Seattle company, Plant Shop/Homestead, to outfit the store with curated plants and add a necessary residential feel to the space while aligning with the simple, considered aesthetic of the design. &Local products from the heart of Seattle will also be available for purchase in-store including Herbivore Botanicals Bath Salts, Whiskey Wicks Candles and Seattle's Chocolate Bars.
The first 100 customers through the door will receive a free T&N standard-size &Pillow™, made with T&N Adaptive® Foam which retails for $75 (limit 1 per 18+ adult). Additionally, 100% of sales in-store that day will benefit Team Rubicon, a Seattle-based disaster response veterans service organization dedicated to uniting the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams for places and people in need.
WHEN: Saturday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
(10 a.m. – 1p.m. will be the most visually active time period of the day)
