2019 NORTHWEST CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL – North America’s largest chocolate festival – hosted in Seattle this November.
On Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10, thousands will gather on Seattle's Pier 91 for the 11th annual two-day event. Open to the public, the NWCF is the largest gathering of craft chocolate-makers and education programs about chocolate, hosting 186 chocolate producers and businesses from 26 countries. We’d love to arrange a comp VIP media pass for you or a local freelancer or staffer – do let me know. The festival goes beyond “tasting” as attendees will not only have the chance to taste the most delicious, hand-crafted, artisan and one-of-a-kind chocolates – including truffles, bonbons, chocolate bars and more – but also take part in 76 different workshops (including a 21+ lounge with spirits brands).
Additionally, there will be culinary demos, talks and appearances by top industry professionals at every level of the cocoa supply chain - including Seattle’s own Fran Bigelow, founder of Fran’s Chocolates and Maricel Presilla, James Beard award-winning chef and author, The New Taste of Chocolate. The experience will also be a highly Instagram-able and selfie-friendly environment for attendees to create “sharable” mouthwatering social feed moments.
