In honor of Black History Month, and in conjunction with the Michael P. Anderson Memorial Aerospace Program, we’re proud to present US Air Force Pilot Major Kristofer W. Duckett, who has served more than 22 years in the USAF. He has served as a tactics officer, wing airlift director, flight commander, deputy chief plans and programs, and expeditionary airlift squadron mission commander. Duckett’s presentation will describe how he earned the coveted role of Mission Pilot and the obstacles he overcame to live his dream.
This lecture is open to the public and included with Museum admission.
The Michael P. Anderson Memorial Aerospace Program (MPA) is named in honor of this Washington native and payload commander of the Space Shuttle Columbia. It leverages Michael’s legacy to inspire middle school (6th-8th) youth from throughout Washington State to participate in the Museum’s exciting educational programs while being mentored by professionals in the aerospace and aviation industry.
