Celebrate Duwamish Alive! Day. We are collaborating with the Environmental Coalition of South Seattle (ECOSS) for this event focusing on forest restoration in the Duwamish River watershed. The Duwamish Hill Preserve is a ten acre park offering green space and rich history in the City of Tukwila. "The Hill" offers a Puget Sound Salish Cultural Garden, artwork and signs by local artist Mette Hanson, beautiful madrona trees, and views of the Duwamish River.

Join ECOSS, the Greenway Trust, and Duwamish Alive! Coalition partners for a day of  celebration and volunteering. Coffee, snacks, and lunch provided. Note that there is a police shooting range neighboring the site, and you may hear gunfire from the Seattle Police shooting range to the north of the preserve. It is contained and does not pose a risk to volunteers.
