Cool down in the summertime at the Tukwila Community Center's Splash and Spray Park. Open July 2nd through Labor Day, 10am-8pm daily. Spray Park is free to everyone. This aquatic playground is full of water fun. With sprays of water shooting up from the ground, fish spouts to aim, fountains to run through, and car wash style play areas, this park has been a hit since it opened. There are a few benches around the edges and some grassy space. Pack some treats and make it a playdate!
Let the Kids Cool Off at the Splash Park in Tukwila
Tukwila Park is a 6.5 acre park site and was built in 1934 - the oldest of the Tukwila parks. The site is covered with mature vegetation, which includes large firs and a variety of Rhododendrons. Adjacent to Duwamish River and close to Westlake Southcenter Mall, Bicentennial Park hosts many summer music concerts and is available for reservations of up to 25 people. There is also a log cabin built by volunteers in 1976, serving as a tribute to our nation’s pioneer roots. Macadam Winter Garden is one of Tukwila's newest parks. The park features a large variety of plants, shrubs, and trees that bloom year round. A special interest in winter blooming plants makes Macadam Winter Garden a very unique park. Macadam Winter Garden received a Washington Recreation and Parks Association Spotlight Award in the category of "Best Park" in 2007.
The Interurban Trail runs through Tukwila, Kent, Auburn, Algona, and Pacific along a near-straight 14 mile-long route beside the historic Interurban Rail Line. The alignment crosses a wide variety of landscapes, providing views of many regional sites and activities. The landscape passes through historic industrial areas and suburban lands while following the BESF railroad south, before crossing through the broad Green River Valley. The trail provides access to the Southcenter area, Renton Junction, downtown Kent, Emerald Downs in Auburn, and the communities of Algona and Pacific. The Interurban is an excellent north-south off-road, nonmotorized route and is popular with local commuters and biking enthusiasts. Access and parking are provided at numerous locations along the trail.

Fort Dent Park is the largest park in Tukwila, spanning 54 acres. Considered the "go-to" park for many locals and families, Fort Dent offers many amenities, including two kiddo-approved play areas, a picnic area, hiking trails and a soccer field. The Fort Dent Bridge in another fun spot for families and a great place for photos. The park also hosts several sporting events throughout the year, including soccer, rugby, and ultimate Frisbee matches.

Tukwila Community Center is located along the scenic Duwamish River and hosts programs, activities and events, a skate park, and also a spray park! Tukwila Community Center is home to the Recreation Division of Tukwila's Parks and Recreation Department, providing programs, activities, and events for participants of all ages. Located near the I-5 and I-405 interchange this 48,000 square foot facility is close to the airport, hotels and the largest indoor shopping mall in the northwest, Westfield Southcenter. Beside the Duwamish River, from here you can enjoy a southern view of Mount Rainier making it a perfect location for wedding receptions, sporting and special events, and community and business meetings. Foster Memorial Park is a 9 acre park, divided into three separate areas. The upper area, formerly known as Upper Foster Park, contains a small baseball field. The lower portion of the park contains a softball field, a tennis court and a basketball court. The third area has a Little League baseball field, picnic shelter, playground equipment, restroom and paved pathway.
