A founding member of Major League Rugby (MLR), the Seattle Seawolves kicked off their inaugural season in 2018 and claimed the first-ever MLR Championship. Now the Seawolves are battling the eight other teams in the MLR for the second Championship. The reigning MLR Champion Seawolves kicked off the 2019 MLR season at their home stadium, Starfire Sports in Tukwila, Washington on January 27, 2019, defeating the Glendale Raptors.
