Our concierge at the Visitor Center always make guests feel special whether on the phone, through an email or in person.
Noelle is one of the newest members to the Southside family and she has settled in nicely. She started off working for the Visitor Center as an intern while attending school at South Seattle Community College to earn a degree in Hospitality Management. Once her internship was complete, Noelle was hired on as a part time Visitor Concierge Specialist.
What is your favorite thing about working at the Visitor Center?
Noelle: I get to speak with people from around the world. It’s amazing, and sometimes crazy, what I hear about other things going on. It’s also cool to hear different accents!
What is the most interesting request you've received from a visitor?
Noelle: Hmm... that’s a hard one.... perhaps antique steam train rides or antique doll museums. I know there have been other “random” requests, but I just can’t think of them right now.
What is your favorite place to have lunch in Seattle Southside?
Noelle: Cheesecake Factory, Simply Thai, Mali Thai, &/or Bai Tong... Can you tell that I love Thai food?! =) Sushi Land is pretty good, too, for cheap eats!
What do you like to do on your days off?
Noelle: That’s ONLY IF I ever have a day off! I feel like I am always busy with something. Though, on my days off, I LOVE to spend time with my family, even if it’s just staying home. We have a 5-month old son, and he is the GREATEST!!! I love to shop, too, which always gets me in trouble =)
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Noelle: Mmm... ice cream! Ha! I love ice cream period. Right now, my fave would have to be Cookie Mint Chocolate (not Mint Chocolate CHIP, but cookie pieces like Cookies ‘N Cream)!
