Does your group meeting, conference, or event need a change of pace from the standard rotation of boardrooms with the occasional ballroom thrown in? Get outside! Even if you spend most of your day in meetings indoors, everyone needs a breath of fresh air once in a while. Take your evening reception outside and enjoy all the natural beauty and curiously wonderful attractions Seattle Southside has to offer. Worried about the rain? Don't worry - many outdoor spaces either offer shelter from the elements or a nearby indoor space that can take over should the weather choose to be uncooperative. Keep in mind though - it's not always rainy in Seattle!

Additional meeting spaces inside the museum can help support your event as well.

Hotel Garden and Patio Spaces
The patio and meadow at Cedarbrook Lodge, one of the many beautiful outdoor spaces connected to a hotel in Seattle Southside.
We wanted to save the hotel spaces for last, since these tend to be the first places people think of when they think of outdoor meeting venues, but we wanted to highlight just some of the beautiful places to hold a meeting or a reception at local hotels. Pictured above is the patio at Cedarbrook Lodge, a beautiful outdoor space with a pond and a large, grassy meadow. With food and beverage service from Copperleaf Restaurant, your guests are sure to be wowed.
The outdoor courtyard at DoubleTree Suites Seattle Airport-Southcenter is an urban oasis with garden décor. This 1,066 sq.ft. space can also combine with a private 1,847 sq.ft indoor meeting space for added flexibility. Check it out in the virtual tour above.

The Courtyard SeaTac has a back patio that they will rent out for events as well, plus indoor spaces for meetings from 10 to 70 people.
