A Haunted Escape Room at a Chocolate Factory
Every October, Seattle Chocolate, makers of Maeve and jcoco chocolates, hosts a unique, spooky experience at its factory in Tukwila. This year, climb aboard Greg Glitter’s glitter-drenched spaceship for an intergalactic escape room adventure like no other. Guided by the patron saint of the Moon Rocks flavor, you’ll journey to a haunted planet in search of the legendary cosmic cacao. But first, you’ll need to solve a series of puzzles and brave the ghostly garden to help Greg complete his mission.
This 50-minute experience is perfect for adventurers, puzzle lovers, and chocolate fans. Complete the challenge, and you might just take home some cosmic cacao.

The Museum of Fright
During spooky season, the Museum of Flight transforms into The Museum of Fright! The museum’s spacious galleries provide Halloween carnival-style games and activities to spark imagination, innovation and get in the Halloween spirit. Take part in seasonal activities, special displays, and encounter other frightful surprises. Costumes welcome!

Burien Brat Trot
What could be better than a fun run in crisp fall weather? Burien Brat Trot is a 5k Run/Walk and Kids 1k Fun Run that benefits the Highline Schools Foundation. Come for the exercise and stay for prizes, treats, and an all-ages after party hosted by Logan Brewing Company.

Fall Foliage Festival
Discover an immersive wonderland of fall colors at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden’s annual Fall Foliage Festival. This free event showcases Japanese maples, deciduous azaleas, and much more. Enjoy a bite from a food truck or a sweet drink from a coffee cart before joining a garden tour or plant talk. You can also shop for plants, garden gifts, and books.
Note: the garden is across from the Pacific Bonsai Museum, so you can easily visit both sites in one day.

Carpinito Brothers Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze
Carpinito Brothers Farm

This family-owned farm is the perfect place to get in the fall spirit. A local favorite for more than 50 years, it has 20+ acres of farmland to explore.
Pumpkin patch: Use wheelbarrows provided by the farm to pick up everything from a pumpkin to carve to mini decorative gourds to one-of-a-kind squash.
Corn maze: Each year, the farm grows a new, unique maze to keep people guessing what's around the corner.
Farm Fun Yard: In addition to meeting plenty of cute animals, including piglets, rabbits, sheep, cows, goats, chickens, and more, kids can swim in theea of golden yellow corn kernels), slide into a hay pen, "Corn Pit" (a s and navigate a kid-sized hay maze. Don't forget to look up at the "Goat Walk" where goats saunter high above the Farm Fun Yard.
