Seattle, Wash.—December 17, 2003—Williams-Helde, a Seattle-based full-service marketing communications agency, today announced it has partnered with Seattle Southside Visitor Services to launch the Seattle Southside Express shuttle service with its “Take a Ride on the Southside” campaign.

Through close partnerships, the Southside Express runs daily between Westfield Shoppingtown Southcenter, 31 SeaTac and Tukwila hotels, and the Seattle Art Museum and the waterfront in downtown Seattle. The primary purpose of the shuttle is to allow both business and leisure travelers to visit downtown Seattle attractions, while staying in SeaTac and Tukwila hotels. Secondarily, the shuttle’s purpose is to give Seattle residents a convenient, low-cost way to visit the Westfield Shoppingtown Southcenter.

Williams-Helde developed an integrated campaign involving numerous communication pieces including a shuttle bus graphics wrap, tri-fold brochures, table-top displays, and A-boards. In addition, staff at area hotels, as well as staff of the Westfield Shoppingtown Southcenter, were given “Ask Me about Seattle Southside Express” buttons to wear and were briefed on how to field questions from the public and explain the service.
