Get Ready to Rock at the Second Annual Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon
Last year’s inaugural Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon saw 25,000 marathon and half-marathon runners, plus an estimated 100,000 spectators. Going the distance from Tukwila to Seattle, the course encompasses some of the most scenic areas of Seattle. It also features live music at each mile post to keep runners rocking all the way to the finish line. Participants converge at the start on Interurban Avenue in Tukwila, race along the shores of Lake Washington, continue onto the Alaskan Way Viaduct with views of Elliot Bay, pass by the Space Needle and finish outside Qwest Field in downtown Seattle.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon offers something for everyone, whether you are a seasoned marathon runner, first time racer or a music-loving spectator – this event is not to be missed."
