Seattle, Wash. (June 3, 2013)–The Visitor Center for Seattle Southside Visitor Services (www.seattlesouthside.com), the official tourism department for the cities of Des Moines, Kent, SeaTac and Tukwila, is now open seven days a week through the summer months to assist travelers to Seattle and Washington State.
In addition to the regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m., the Visitor Center is now open Saturday and Sunday 10:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. (Closed major holidays). These office hours will be maintained through Labor Day weekend.
Located at 3100 South 176th Street, one block east of the Link light rail station at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, the Seattle Southside Visitor Center makes it easier for travelers visiting Washington State to have the perfect vacation.
Visitor Center Concierges provide complimentary services including, but not limited to:
- Restaurant recommendations
- Hotel reservation assistance and referrals
- Free brochures, maps and other logistical and sightseeing guides
- Transportation guidance and public transportation support
- Advice on museums, theater, dance, opera and how to get tickets
- Tour bookings
- Tips, suggestions and advice on area attractions and ticket information
- Expert knowledge on local events, sports, festivals and activities
