The first ever Tukwila to Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon takes place Saturday, June 27, 2009 and features live music at each mile post. 25,000 runners will start the half marathon and full marathon. Other cities with Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathons include San Diego, Phoenix and Nashville. The event is expected to generate $25 million in economic impact for the region.
