Seattle, February 28, 2007: Seattle Southside Visitor Services, the official tourism departments for the cities of Tukwila, SeaTac, Kent and Des Moines, has hired Meilee Anderson as their new Business Relation’s Coordinator.
Anderson comes to Seattle Southside with over 20 years of hospitality experience primarily from the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho area. She spent 12 years with the Coeur d’Alene Shilo Inn as Director of Sales and Marketing and two years as Sales and Event Manager for Silverwood Themepark in northern Idaho. Anderson was also a founding member of the Coeur d’Alene Convention and Visitors Bureau, serving for three consecutive terms. She worked with the Idaho Governor's Office of Tourism and regional tourism efforts throughout her time in Idaho.
After moving to the Seattle area, Anderson became the corporate sales manager for the Comfort Suites and Family Fun Center in Tukwila.
As the Business Relation’s Coordinator, Anderson is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with Seattle Southside’s associates and providing community and business outreach.
“I’m excited about taking my experience in sales and cooperative marketing projects and putting it into play in the Seattle Southside,” says Anderson. “I want to help our associates maximize their opportunities with the program.”
