Sea-Tac Airport’s New Hub and Heart Opens – Central Terminal and Pacific Marketplace
The barriers are down and the shops and restaurants are open in Sea-Tac’s new Central Terminal and Pacific Marketplace. Accessible to all ticketed passengers, this European-style streetscape is just a short walk from any concourse. (Anthony’s Restaurant makes it debut later this month.)
The nine new shops and 11 new eateries have transformed Sea-Tac from an airport with limited choices to a world-class dining and shopping experience. The airside setting is as spectacular as the retail offerings. A 60-foot tall atrium ceiling adds a feeling of unrestricted flight and the 350-foot-long cable-suspended glass pane wall provides an unfettered view of the runways and, on clear days, the Olympic Mountains.
Public Grand Opening Celebration
Although, the Pacific Marketplace is behind security, it will be open to the non-traveling public for a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, June 4. Mark your calendar and plan to come for a day of fun and festivities.
