SEATTLE, September 23, 2002—Kids can enjoy a free day of air- and space-themed learning at The Museum of Flight with one paid adult admission on Saturday, October 19. The Museum of Flight is working with Warm 106.9 FM and Campbell's Chunky Soup to give children and their parents a special day at the Museum. All programs and events are free with Museum admission unless otherwise noted, and admission is free for up to six children (ages 17 and under) for each paid adult or senior admission.

SCHEDULE:

Whitewings Clinic

10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon and 3:30 p.m.

Build a cool Whitewings glider to take home. Designed for children ages 8 and older. (First 50 kids for each session)

11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Imagine That! Family Fun Workshop

Build your own fantastical spaceship from household materials

12:00 noon–2:00 p.m.

The Museum of Flight is located at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158 off Interstate 5. The Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors 65 and older, $5 for youth 5 to 17, and free for children under 5. Group rates are available. Admission on the first Thursday of the month is free from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. courtesy of Wells Fargo.
