Beverly Gimlin lives in the Puget Sound area and paints at Jackson Street Studios, where over 20 artists and photographers maintain studios. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout Washington and nationally. Gimlin creates atmospheric abstractions inspired by the dramatic landscape of the Northwest and by the landscapes of her travels. Her current work, The Transformation Series, consists of process-driven paintings with colors layered on the surface of the canvas.
