HD Hotspurs BBQ Restaurant

315 S. Washington
Kent, WA, 98032

Hotspur’s is Southern Style BBQ - seasoned with a "dry rub" and cooked sauceless, then hand-cut to order straight from the Pit. (The Pit is right in the middle of the restaurant)

All of our pork, beef, chicken and ribs are specially prepared in the pit over a fire of alderwood to create our signature smoked flavor. This slow cooking process - 16 hours for pork butts and beef brisket, 3 hours for ribs and chicken - makes the meat tender and tasty, and gives it a pinkish color known as a "smoke ring."

Our real alderwood pit and smoker operate 24 hours a day, so you can "smell that barbeque" any time you visit HD Hotspurs!

HD Hotspurs is a tradition; many of our guests have been coming in for 30 years. We’ve watched their families grow and we’re on the 3rd generation now. Established in 1979, we celebrated our 30th anniversary in May of 2009. We are family owned and run, and know many of our guests by name. We’re not fancy -- just fun!! So get in here!!
