Salty's at Redondo Beach Seafood Grill

28201 Redondo Beach Dr S
Des Moines, WA, 98198

You can be here in just minutes from Tacoma, Seattle, or Sea-Tac Airport, but Salty’s at Redondo makes you feel like you’re a million miles away from crowds, big cities and stuffy formality. It’s the friendliest beach town restaurant you may have ever visited. Built over the waters of Puget Sound, this Salty’s offers you fabulous views of Puget Sound, Maury Island and the Olympic Mountains. The sunsets over the Olympic Mts. are stunning and a perfect foil to our award-winning seafood cuisine. Even though every table doesn't have its own window, every seat has a terrific view. Ferries visiting Vashon Island. Sunsets over the Olympics. Scuba divers in Puget Sound. Children collecting shells and rocks on the beach. Whether it's a stormy winter day or a sunny summer evening, the view as well as the seafood dining are wonderfully unforgettable.

At Salty's Seafood Grill, we offer only the freshest seafood available prepared with style. From live Dungeness crab and Maine lobster (swimming in our lobby) to our world-famous Alaskan salmon and halibut in season, oysters and clams from Northwest beaches or USDA prime aged charbroiled steaks, luncheon salads and sandwiches, you will find many choices on our menus to please the most discriminating palette. To complement your meal, order wine from an extensive list of outstanding Northwest and world-class selections. Our award winning Sunday Brunch¬ is like none you’ve ever seen elsewhere. It’s no wonder Salty’s is voted the Nation’s Best Brunch by MSN-Citysearch.com.

The Bar-Café features live music on select evenings and a Happy Hour Menu our locals love. When spring and summer arrive, our wrap-around decks are the locals’ favorite hangout. Long summer days and evenings with warm sunshine and refreshing saltwater breezes encourage Salty's guests to linger with refreshing cocktails and tasty seafood appetizers.

We accommodate business meetings and banquets for as few as three or as many as 50. We’ll serve you inside in our dining room or outside on our sundeck. If you’d rather have your event at your place, order from our Party Platters Menu.

Are you a guest at one of our South Seattle preferred hotels? We’re just 15 minutes from Sea-Tac Airport. Based on availability, Salty's at Redondo provides complimentary van service from many Sea-Tac Airport hotels. Ask your hotel concierge for more information.

Impeccably prepared seafood. Fun, beachfront atmosphere. Perfectly friendly service. A captivating waterfront view. It's our recipe for the perfect dining experience. And the parking is as free as the view. Come dressed up or casual and make your Restaurant Reservation today.

My adventure starts at SouthCenter shopping center. I'm a fairly newcomer to the gorgeous Northwest. I thought I would miss my 24 hr. town of Las Vegas, but when I saw this shopping center, I was impressed at all it has to offer. Especially the great food court in the mall. So many ethnic choices. Had my first taste of Ivar's Clam Chowder here! No clam chowder I've ever had beats it, and being a foodie, I know clam chowders. Also, Salty's at Redondo Beach was just heaven, not only the food and service, but the view was incredible! I went alone so I don't have a photo of me enjoying myself. I hope this doesn't put my out of the contest.
