BBQ Pete's

6621 South 211th St
Suite 106
Kent, WA

BBQ Pete's has a history going back to 1972. Pete created the first restaurant in Tacoma, on 72nd Ave. It became a destination and in 1976, Pete expanded his operation to the Puyallup Fair. Since then, eating at Pete's log cabin every September has become an annual tradition for many locals. Pete retired from the year round restaurant business in 1995, but the Fair operation has remained in the Peterson family all along. Pete's son, Ryan, is now mixing the old with the new and bringing it all back home. The new quick-service restaurant in Kent is a reincarnation of BBQ Pete's award winning southern style barbecue. We are serving the same great rub and Puyallup Fair sauce that have been Pete's signature since the early days. Pull up a bench, enjoy the quality tunes, and dig in to some real wood pit barbecue!
