Seattle Southside refers to the four cities near the Sea-Tac International Airport: SeaTac, Tukwila, Kent and Des Moines, Washington. Seattle Southside is approximately 15-20 minutes south of downtown Seattle. Hotel accomodations in Seattle Southside are 20-30% cheaper than those in downtown Seattle.

"How do I make a hotel reservation in Seattle Southside?"

"How do we get to Seattle from Seattle Southside?"
Getting to Seattle from Seattle Southside is never a problem. You have many transportation options to choose from:

Seattle Southside Express - This is by far the easiest and most convenient way to get to Seattle. The Seattle Southside Express Shuttle will pick you up from your SeaTac and Tukwila hotel and bring you to downtown Seattle. Your ride to Seattle is $12/person roundtrip, or $7/person one-way. Reservations are required. Please call (206) 241-5800 to reserve your seat.

Metro Bus - The Metro Bus is the local public bus system that operates in Seattle and surrounding areas. From Tukwila, catch Route 150 at the Westfield Shoppingtown Southcenter. From Sea-Tac International Airport, catch Route 194. Both are "express" buses that will take you straight to downtown Seattle. Click here for timetables and fare information.

Auto - If you are driving your own car, take Interstate 5 North. Take the Seneca St. Exit to get to downtown Seattle. Only metered and garage parking are available in downtown. To get to the Space Needle, take the Mercer St. Exit.

"I'm taking a cruise. Where can I get a ride to/from the cruise terminal?"
Seattle Express can take you to/from your cruise terminal. The ride is only $10/person. For inquiries and reservations, call (206) 793-0770. (Note: Most hotels provide a free shuttle from Sea-Tac Airport to their hotels. From there, take Seattle Express to your cruise terminal.)
