The Founder’s lodge is located nearest the beach at the Des Moines Beach Park. With its floor to ceiling windows this building offers beautiful views of the Puget Sound, Vashon Island and the Cascade Mountain Range. The building is wrapped vast deck facing the meadow. The Lodge is ideal for small to medium groups and receptions of up to 60 people. The Lodge is carpeted with a fully equipped kitchen. Tables and chairs are available to accommodate most seating requirements. All additional equipment and supplies are the responsibility of the renter.

The ceiling height in the Lodge ranges from 8 feet to 19 feet in the center of the facility. Parking is complimentary in the park with additional parking available just south at the Des Moines Marina. The City of Des Moines offers shuttle rental with driver for a nominal fee.
