During the month of December, thousands of people descend on this Bavarian town to experience an old town Christmas full of lights, carols, holiday characters and hopefully, snow.

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays approaching, it’s a good time to get away and relax before the madness of cooking, cleaning, family and more is here. Have you ever been to Victoria, British Columbia? If not, now’s a good time to visit.

This month’s day trip is a little different – instead of going somewhere else, we thought we’d make you a tourist in your own city. But not just any tourist – more of a paranormal visitor.

The days are getting shorter and kids are headed back to school, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for another great day trip. This time, we’re headed north to Bellingham.

Visit an untouched, sandy beach just north of Seattle. Jetty Island is the area’s little known place for sand, kite boarding and a perfect day at the beach!

When the sky is clear and you look to the south, Washington’s highest mountain dominates the sky covered in snow and 26 major glaciers. Mt. Rainier is the highest mountain in the Cascade Range.

There is nothing more uniquely Pacific Northwest than the Washington State Ferry system. This month, we are going to hop on board and head to Poulsbo to discover “Little Norway”.
