The beach provides unobstructed views of the Sound and excellent opportunities for sea-life study. There are 11 miles of trails throught the park. Activities include camping, picnicking, fishing, hiking, beachcombing, unguarded swimming, and marine life study.

There are two covered picnic shelters in the park reservable by calling (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688. The park provides 73 unsheltered picnic tables.

Starting July 1, 2011, there are new fees to look out for. Day use at the park in $10.00 or you can buy the annual Discover Pass for $35.00. These passes can be bought online or at outdoor retailers from any of nearly 600 recreational license vendors where state fishing and hunting licenses are sold
 
This attraction is located about 10.1 miles from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
 
Duration:about 2 hours
Hours:Summer: 8 a.m. to dusk.
Winter: Closed Sept. 7, reopens May 13

Camping:
Check-in time, 2:30 p.m.
Check-out time, 1 p.m.
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Engine-driven electric generators may be operated only between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Length of stay: You may stay up to ten consecutive days in any one park during the summer; the stay limit is extended to 20 days between Oct. 1 and March 31
